For some quick xmas cards I used the kanban toppers I bought at the craftfair in Hull last november. The quality is brilliant, and it just does not need a whole lot more!

A little blog to post the cards I make. Maybe someone will be inspired by it! For me it will be fun to see the change in the cards I make, as I always seem to make different stuff at different times!

More christmas
Another christmas card. I love these colors together, though I wish I had used a dif color for the stamps, so they would pop out a bit more in the background. Ohwell, live and learn :)

resist technique
I love this technique. It creates the most beautiful backgrounds on cards.
Stamp your stamp with versamark, and use clear embossing powder. Then use several colors of distress ink to go over it, and voila, what was once a piece of white card is now a stunning background!

corner die
My mum joined a craftclub in her own town a couple of months ago, and when I visited my mum I went with her to meet all these lovely people. One of them had this holly corner die, and it is to die for (hahahaha). So we went back to the craftshop, where we had been 3 times before that week :) and bought it.

Black and white
I saw this idea on create and craft, and when I was at my mum I asked my aunt to bring her scoreboard. I knew she had one, and I also knew she had never used it before. I thought this would give her a bit of inspiration on what she can do with it.
Created the background with the scoreboard, and then used black cosmic shimmer pearl pva glue to create the pearls!

Myrthe's birthday
The last couple of years I have been making cards with horses for Myrthe's birthday, but this year I wanted something different. Myrthe loves to bake, esp cupcakes, so the choise was easy. Colored with promarkers :)

hanger
I love this card. The only way I could make this card is cos my mum has this amazing circle die (a grand one!) It still needed a hole and a ribbon through so you can hang it on the wall or whatever. I added this after I took the picture.
So, the last 11 cards you have seen (or is it 10?? I don't know) from when I wrote I made them at my mum's, I sold them. I went to my mum's craftclub, my mum made me show my cards, and voila, I could buy myself a new die :) Good times!!!

So pretty
Another one of my fave cards I made back in Holland. This clock really works for me, and I can't wait to make lots more of these kinda cards for the next christmas season!

almost real!
Well, I think it is. This card looks like one of those old fashioned mantle piece clocks! Ohyes, and I went a bit crazy on the cosmic shimmer pearls, and swirled them all over!!

Clocks
As always, we (that's my mum, my aunt and myself .... again ....) like to take a trip to a craftshop close to my mum's house. There we saw these clock dies from Marianne Design. At first we were a bit like hhhmmmm. what to do with those, but decided to buy them anyways. Back home we created the most beautiful christmas/new years cards!! So happy these are in my collection!

more ways then one
My mum and Aunt have this die set from spellbinders that besides a really nice shape, creates really nice "leftovers". I was happy to show them there were more ways to use them!

New die
The upside to going to my mum's house is that I always get inspired by all the new dies mym mum and aunt have and show me. The downside is, is that I get very greedy and want them all hahahaha.
This is one of my favorite cards I made at my mum's. I made about 20. The die, and the color's together with the decoupage are so nice!
