Where am I

Oh it's been weeks ago since I last posted a card. It actually has been weeks ago since I last made a card.
My sister is pregnant, and it's another 4 weeks orso untill she gives birth, and like I did for the other kids she got, I am making a cross stitch thing for the baby. So for the last couple of weeks I have had nothing but needle and thread in my hands. Just a few more weeks and then it will be done and I hopefully can go back to my cardmaking, cos I miss it!
Even worse, my full set of Prismacolors arrived a couple of weeks ago, and I have only played with it once!! I wanna feel paper instead of Aida :):)

Yellow Sixteen challenge

This week we had a challenge in 2 steps. The first step was to make a list of items we were going to use on our project/card. We gott 100 credits and got to spend it on a pre-made list. My list was:

- 1 piece of 12x12 plain card (I picked white)
- 1 stamped image
- 1 text stamp
- use of ink
- use of needle and cotton
- lace
- ribbon
- 1 8x8 card (I picked patterened)
- 1 6x6 card (I picked patterened)
- 2 flowers
- 2 brads

There was also a mystery item that was reveiled on the second part of the challenge, that we had to use on the card. The mystery item was a feather! And here is my take on the challenge:

Paper I used is Basic Grey, the image is my new Belles 'n Whistles - Sisters, and the lovely girls are colored with Distress Inks. 2 big Prima flowers were used, with some cool big brads I got from some shop in Holland.

My Auntie's birthday

Take two: Yesterday I tried posting this, and after my typing I wanted to include picture only to discover that it was not on my computer. Luckily I have not emptied my camera yet, so it was still on there. So I try again.

Last week friday was my Aunt Marij's birthday. She is my craft aunt, and together with my mum she makes the most amazing things! I had to make a nice card for her birthday, and I think I did :)

I made an easel card, using lovely papers from a cheap paper bloc, that can be bought in Holland at the Action-store. Used the Martha Stewart combo punch called Cherish. Now at first my Aunt thought that I had been punching all the little holes one by one. Now I do like crafty things and all that, but punching little holes one by one is not one of them! They come with the MS punch :)
The stamp is from LLB-LLewelyn-Bowen and colored with Promarkers.

I don't know if I wrote this already, but last week I ordered my Prisma Pencils, so I am practicly camping underneath the mailbox :)
