A little blog to post the cards I make. Maybe someone will be inspired by it! For me it will be fun to see the change in the cards I make, as I always seem to make different stuff at different times!

For my sister
This is the one I made for my sister. I had to use this little topper, as the little angel is the spitting image of her little daughter Joëlle! The curls, the blond hair, her face! It could be her!!

Merry Christmas Aunt Marij and Uncle Rinie.
Every year I make 3 very special christmas cards to go to Holland. One for my mum, one for my sister, and one for my Aunt Marij and Uncle Rinie, to who I have grown very close to in the last 6-7 years! My Aunt is also a very good cardmakester, and so I know how much a card like this will be apreciated and loved!

Myrthe's birthday
It was my amazing Niece Myrthe's birthday in November, and I wanted to make her something special, as I always try and do for her. Her bedroom is purple, so I went for a purple themed card, that turned out more like a book then a card hahaha!
The tag comes out of the pocket, and I wrote my message to Myrthe on it!
This is the front and side view of the card. I gave the card a lovely spine to look at. I like making little details like that!
The inside of the card! As you can see, it is very deep, and a lot of work has gone into the details!
The tag comes out of the pocket, and I wrote my message to Myrthe on it!
A closer look on all the flowers! Every single flower is hand made! The borders on the frames are stamped and colored with promarkers.
Here you can see the depth of the card a little better. All in all it took me 4 days to create this card, but I was over the moon with the end result!

Verse stamp
At the craftfair in Doncaster we came across a stamp-stand with weirdly green looking stamps. They were all verses for birthdays, christmas, you name it! They were not expensive at all, so I bought 2 Birthday and 1 Christmas verse stamps. Not knowing the brand it was a bit of a gamble, but after using one I immediatly regretted not buying more!!! They stamp amazingly, the fonts are stunning and the verses are so lovely!! I hope to see this stand again this year!!

new new new
A good thing, and at the same time a bad thing has happened back in october on my birthday. My mum and I went to the craftfair in Doncaster, and for the first time I saw the JustRite stamps in real life. I bought one set, used it, fell in love and a new addiction was born!! And besides JustRite, also Heartfelt Creations stamps ..... I am scared to say that ever since october I managed to collect 3 folders full of the stamps (and some with matching Dies!!).

Happy Birthday
If ever in need of making a quick birthday card, because you want to make something aspecially for someone, then Hunkydory is your best friend! I made this card for a little girl, who was going to be 10. Her mum asked on the Hunkydorables facebook page if people wanted to send her a card, and many of us did :)

Schetepeet
When my mum was overhere, we both worked on this card for Resa, one of my sisters daughters. She is a very special little girl, living in a special care home, and she loves getting mail! I always call her schetepeet (a dutch word!). Unfortunatly her "baby" sister got hold of the card and had the strong need to see how it was made! Thank goodness we still have the picture hahaha :)

40 40 40
It was my Brother in law's birthday in December and it was the magical age of 40! Where I loved it turning 40, he was less happy about it! I thought he needed a reminder about his age though hahaha!

Winner
I loved making this card. First because it is such a fun kit to play with (Hunkydory ofcourse). Second because I made it for one of my birthday buddies, and third because I won the October competition with it on the Hunkydorables facebook page! How much fun!!

Stylish
I love this type of card. My mum created the first one, with a straight edge, but I thought it would look awesome with the border dies. And so it did!! And isn't this Hunkydory set amazing?? I love the colorrange!!

See that little christmas tree in the corner? Well, that came free with a craft magazine! How much fun is that!! I cut it out, dipped it in versamark, gold embossing powder and created a metallic look!

Something different
Besides the embroidery I made for this card, I also thought it would make a difference to not use flowers but pinecones. I love it :)
