Joe

If I did it right, this post will be posted (!!) at the same time as I am flying to Holland. Yes I am trying to use the scheduled post thing for my blog. Lets hope I did it right hahaha!

This card I made for Ian's nephew Joe. It was his 18th birthday, and well, what on earth do you make for an 18 year old lad?? So I just made a simple card with his name on it.

DanaƩ

Some of you may know this, others may not. 3 years ago on the 12th of september, my sister gave birth to a wonderfull baby girl. Unfortunatly she was not allowed to stay on earth and after 18 hours we had to say goodby to her. Every year I make a card for her birthday, and I always use the amount of butterflies on the cards as she would have turned that day. So this year 3 butterflies on the card. And I also used a butterfly Tilda I happened to have.

The butterflies and Tilda's wings are colored with Spectrum Noir. Can I just say OMG, these are so amazing to color with!! I am most definatly buying more of these when they are finally back in stock. The rest of Tilda is colored with Promarkers and Prismacolors.

And here is one I made earlier!

Well, sort off I suppose. I made this card a few months ago when I was in Holland at my mums house. I really love the colors on this card, and this shape really is one of my fave!!

Lovely Tilda is colored with Promarkers and Prismacolor pencils!

Part 3 of 3

I can't believe how fast the time is going. Already a week has gone by since my last post, and I dont know where the time has gone. I have been making lots of BIG x-mas cards, got my finger taped to a lollipop stick since wednesday (which is really uncomfy and annoying!!) and went to the fair with the kids last night. Don't think though that having 2 fingers stuck to some wood is keeping me from crafting, eventhough it's painfull hahaha!!
Anyways, here is the last one of the set of 3 I made:

The little flower at the bottom, I made myself. It's 2 sizes of lace and I just sew them together at the bottom. Pearl from an old necklace in the middle and voila!!

It's another simple card, and I now notice that the shrinked embellishment is hanging backwards on the picture!! Just imagin a christmas bauble on it :)

A set of 3

A few weeks ago, I got this amazing package in mail. It came from my aunt. She and my mum had been to a craftfair in Holland, and they came across all this amazing paper. She was so kind to by me a bloc of paper, and I have made 3 cards with it. This is the first of 3 same sort cards.

At my craftclub I was asked to do some demonstrations with versamark and embossingpowders. I also took my pearl-ex powders with me to show what else you can do. I stamped the christmas tree with versamark and went to town with my gold powder :):) Then I created a little embelishment with a spellbindersdie and shrink plastic. I so love how it turned out!!

As promised

I promised my mum a few days ago I would post the card I made for someones birthday. And ofc me beeing me, I forgot, and then got so busy preparing for the kids birthdayparty this afternoon. But I remembered, and so here it is:

The card took a good 5 hours to make, but I so so love it. The castle in the background is colored with prismacolors and sansodor. The fairies are colored with promarkers except the dresses, they are colored with Spectrum Noir, which in time will be added more to my collection cos they are amazing!! The fairies wings I used Angelina fibres and that flat stuff ( I forgot the name, sorry). I ironed it first so it was nice and flat and melted together, then used a stazon ink and stamped the wings. Cut it out and glued it on the fairies! It's so lovely and shiny!! Marianne Design dies were used, and one of the tag dies from spellbinders.
