Snowy accetate, what a lovely thing, but oh so expensive, so I make my own! I use a laminate sheet and laminate it without anything, and then with my snowmarker randomly make snow on it, and voila, snowy accetate!!
This is the first ever Hunkydory card I ever made, and I really really love it! I am curious what I am going to think about these cards in 5 years time, when I look back at this blog and see them all again.
This is a fun card. The decoupage is hunkydory, though I cheated a little bit. I did not use the bottom layer on this one, cos I used it on a different card. Instead I just stuck it on some silver mirri and cut it out :)
I made this card, with the 2 ovals, and the candle with the green flourish underneath but didn't like it at all. It wasn't right at all. Then I got this Joy Die-set of my mum, and I knew that that would make it right. So I made the oval with the sentiment in it, stamped a flower and the little flourishes from the Die-set and voila, a lovely card!
What I have been doing, and this also explains the numbers in my titles, is using the Hunkydory Christmas Blockbuster set by set. I am trying to count how many cards I am going to make in total using the full blockbuster, with sometimes my own stuff.
For this I used a leftover background sheet, created borders from the leftovers from the toppersheet and used this amazing LeSuh decoupage! I love this card!
This was so much fun to find. I opened up one of my paperpacks and found this left-over sheet that I had used on my cricut many moons ago. The leftover bit looked so much like a christmas tree in grass that I had to use it!! Used a hunkydory background sheet from the blockbuster and some decoupage :)
